The
true definition of men who lie down with men
It
seems that the main passages that are causing all the misunderstandings are
the ones below.. by Moses and by Paul . . ..
"
. .fornicators, men who lie with men, kidnappers, liars, false swearers, and whatever
other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching
1Timothy
1:10
"And
you must not allow the devoting of any of your offspring to Molech. You must
not profane the name of your God that way. I am God.' And you must not lie down
with a man the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.’
Leviticus
18:21
Molech
was an early symbol used to represent the Satan.
The idea of Satan –
meaning the adversary - was used mainly to as a symbol of the authorities..
those in power.. who were abusing their position in order to indulge
themselves in various forms of deception..
tyranny and oppression.. and to enslave people unwittingly to their will.
When
Moses said the above passage 18:21.. he is warning his people not to give
themselves.. heart and soul.. (as intimately as they would give themselves to
a woman) to the existing authorities and their traditions and law.. instead of
having an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God.
Oh
course.. Moses was speaking in riddles here.. and the passage cannot be taken
in the literal sense at all.. as the example below will demonstrate. It may
well seem that below Moses is actually condemning necrophilia here.. when
understood in a literal sense.. but when you study the teaching of Jesus..
what Moses meant is made clear…
"God now said to Moses: ‘Look! You are lying
down with your fore fathers; and this people will certainly get up
and have immoral intercourse with foreign gods of the land to which they are
going, in their very midst, and they will certainly forsake me and break my
covenant that I have concluded with them.’ "
Deuterononmy
31:16
"But
it is God that you should fear, as he is the one that will deliver you out of
the hand of all your enemies." And they did not obey, but it was
according to their former RELIGION that they were doing. And these nations
came to be fearers of God, but it was their own graven images that they proved
to be serving. As for both their sons and their grandsons, it was just as
their forefathers had done that they temselves are doing down to this day.

OK, now: the meaning of 'lying down with forefathers'
"And
God says: "For the reason that this people have come near with their
mouth, and have glorified me merely with their lips, and they have remove
their heart itself far away from me, and their fear towards me becomes
men's commandments that are being taught, therefore here I am, the One that will
act wonderfully again with this people, in a wonderful manner and with
something wonderful; and the wisdom of their wise men must perish, and the
very understanding of their discreet men will conceal itself."
Woe to those who are going very deep in concealing counsel from God
himself, and whose deeds have occurred in a dark place, while they say:
"Who is seeing us, and who is knowing of us?" the perversity of
you men!"
Isaiah
29:13
"In
reply he said to them: ‘Why is it you also overstep the commandment of God
because of your tradition? Isaiah aptly prophesied about you hypocrites,
as it is written, ‘This people honour me with their lips, but their
hearts are far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me,
because they teach as doctrines the commands of men. 'Letting go the
commandment of God, you hold fast the tradition of men. Further, he went on to
say to them:‘ Adroitly you set aside the commandment of God in order to
retain your tradition.. and thus you make the word of God invalid by your
tradition which you handed down. And many things similar to this you do.’
Matthew
15:3 & Mark 7:6
"Look
out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry you off As his prey through
the philosophy and empty deception According to the tradition of men,
according to the elemtary of the world and not according to Christ;
Here’s
some other passages they might be naively understood to be referring to
homosexual relationships . .
But
when you look just a little more closely and you will see that these words are
being addressed to those in positions of authority instead . . ..
What actually is being practised on their beds?
"Upon
a mountain high you lifted up your bed. There also you went up to offer
sacrifice. And behind the door and the doorpost you set your memorial. For
apart from me you uncovered yourself and proceeded to go up; you made your bed
spacious. And yourself you went concluding a covenant with them. You loved a
bed with them. The male organ you beheld. And you continued sending your
envoys far off, so that you lowered matters to Sheol. In the multitude of your
ways you have toiled. You have not said, `It is hopeless!' You have found a
revival of your own power. That is why you have not grown sick.
Isaiah
57:6
"Woe
to those who are scheming what is harmful, and to those practicing what is bad,
upon their beds! By the light of the morning they proceed to do it, because it
is in the power of their hand. And they have desired fields and have seized
them; also houses and have taken them; and they have defrauded an able-bodied
man and his household, a man and his hereditary possession."
Micah 2:1

Having relations with other gods means having relations with other
ideas…
the ideas of their leaders... who were acting as if they were gods.
